What happens if my dog becomes aggressive and prevents the completion of a service?
If a dog becomes aggressive before a service begins and it’s deemed unsafe for Ben to enter the premises, the client will be contacted immediately to discuss the situation and possible next steps— photos or videos may be provided when appropriate. The safety of both Ben and the dog(s) is the top priority, which is why Meet & Greets are required before any service to help prevent potential issues. These situations are extremely uncommon once a Meet & Greet has taken place.
Please note that refunds are not guaranteed. Refunds will depend on the circumstances surrounding the incident and will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis. Clients who are concerned that their dog may have behavioral issues with a new person are encouraged to reach out early and/or discuss these concerns during the Meet & Greet to help prevent any issues on the day of service.
What happens if ben has to cancel my service?
In the rare event that Ben needs to cancel a service — whether a month in advance or the day before — clients will receive a full refund. If multiple services or consecutive days are booked and only part of the booking must be canceled, a refund will be issued for any portion that cannot be completed.
This situation has never occurred, but in the interest of transparency and preparedness, clients can be assured that there will always be a resolution.
Do I have to create a time to pet account to hire lukas k9?
Yes. All clients wanting to book services with LUKAS K9 must create a Time To Pet account. All scheduling and payments are handled directly through Time To Pet. You can access TTP through the login link on LUKASK9.com or by using the mobile app.
You may schedule a Meet & Greet before creating an account, but a client profile is required to move forward with any booking.
what if there’s an emergency and i can’t cancel in time?
Because LUKAS K9 is a solo-run business, accepting one booking often means turning down others. For that reason, LUKAS K9 is not able to make exceptions for late cancellations on a case‑by‑case basis. The cancellation policy is designed to be as fair and flexible as possible for everyone.
